Red Belt Challenge: Day 1


Synopsis of the day

I weighed 243 lbs this morning. Water retention is a small problem today as my wedding ring is a little tight.

  • Backpack weighed in at 35 lbs
  • Climbed 456 steps (with pack on)
  • Walked 3.52 miles (with pack on)
  • Fasted for 18 ½ hours.
  • 1 hour of Taijutsu training (Not with pack on, although an interesting idea)



It was a good first day. I can safely say I am tired.

A couple of days ago, I did a bunch of squats going down all the way to the floor. My leg muscles are screaming at me. I am choosing to ignore them.

Tomorrow the plan is push-ups, plank, and free weights.
