History of Pepsi

Growing up, our family was a Pepsi household. I remember six packs of the cola cooling in our refrigerator. However, it was a forbidden drink to us children. We were regulated to non-caffeinated drinks such as Mug Root beer, Orange Crush, and Sprite. My parents claimed it was not good for children to consume caffeine. They reasoned it stunted our growth. While there is no scientific proof of that reasoning, it was probably good they shielded from the actual side effects of caffeine. Nonetheless, soda played a part in our family culture. What role did play in yours?

Here is a short video of the history of the rise of Pepsi Cola.
